Know whether your door is open or closed – in addition to knowing the state of your smart lock.
Track your door’s open/closed status directly in the Tedee app, alongside the current state of the smart lock. Get push notifications if the door stays open, and keep a full log of every opening and closing in the smart lock’s activity history.
• Complete door status.
• Locking the smart lock only after the sensor senses that the door has been closed.
• Comprehensive activity logging.
• The Tedee Door Sensor consists of two elements: a sensor and a magnet.
• It detects the position of your door leaf relative to the door frame and communicates with your Tedee smart lock.
• Works over Bluetooth with Tedee PRO, Tedee GO2 and Tedee GO.
• Simple DIY, 100% wireless installation using pre-applied adhesive pads on the door leaf and the door frame.
• Both sensor and magnet units installed on the inside of your door.
• Compact, minimalistic design.
Place a small and discreet keypad outside your home to unlock the door without keys or devices.
Connect your smart lock to the internet to control your Tedee GO2 from wherever you are. Unlock your door remotely, check the real-time smart lock’s activity, and control it using mobile widgets.
Powered by a standard CR2032 battery (included), the Tedee Door Sensor offers up to 2 years of operation without replacement. This widely available 3V lithium coin cell is commonly used in devices like remote controls, watches, and toys.
Not at all. Both the sensor and magnet are mounted with pre-applied adhesive pads on the inside of the door. Placement should be on the door edge furthest from the hinges. The exact positioning depends on the door type (rebated or non-rebated) and its opening direction. Calibration is required after installation.
It is compatible with most standard doors. Ensure the sensor and magnet can be aligned properly.
To access live smart lock status remotely, your Tedee PRO, GO2, or GO must be paired with a Wi-Fi-connected Tedee Bridge. Even without a Tedee Bridge (though recommended for full functionality), the door leaf status is still synced locally with your smart lock, offering useful features without remote access.
When the battery level drops to 15%, the battery level will be indicated in the “My devices” list, so you have enough time to replace the battery and keep your door sensor fully operational. If enabled, the device Owner/Admin will receive a notification on their mobile device.
Tedee Door Sensor is designed for indoor use.
