Is the cylinder robbery safe? Do you have any certification?
Yes. Our GERDA cylinders are certified Class 6 European Safety standard, while available M&C cylinders possess SKG*** rating and proven burglar resistance.
Do I have to use a new cylinder or adapter to install a smart lock?
We offer easy-to-install adapters for European, Nordic, and Swiss lock types. However, you can replace your European cylinder with a tedee smart lock compatible modular cylinder. Read more about both setups here.
Can I order two cylinders that open with the same key?
Yes! We offer that as a custom order that takes about 2-3 weeks to prepare. Contact us at [email protected].
Can I buy a cylinder compatible with my Master Key system?
We have a couple of options for enabling the use of tedee smart locks with Master Key or Keyed Alike systems. Please, contact us at [email protected] with details of your setup.
How can I get extra keys for my smart door lock?
In the cylinder's box, you'll find a code card with a number. You can use it to order extra keys from an authorized local locksmith or the cylinder's manufacturer.
