Carrying groceries is hard enough

It’s much easier since I don’t need to look for keys anymore. My smart lock detects when I arrive and unlocks itself. Like automatic supermarket door – at home!

Ding dong!

Does anyone like rushing to open the door? Me neither, especially at my me time. Relax, just let guests in with a click in the app – or on my smartwatch.

I’m always asked about it

No! We don’t worry about getting home if our phones die. With a keypad, I unlock with just a PIN. I also carry a single key in my wallet if I want to unlock the door traditionally.

Have you locked the door?

I know I have. Actually, my door locks by itself – I got a smart lock for that. No more forgetting, no more worries, too. It’s one less thing to stress about.

It’s hard to leave my plants alone!

But when I take a last-minute trip, I simply send “digital keys” to my friend Daniel. He can water my plants whenever he likes. In a rush, it’s enough to text her a PIN. Thanks, Daniel!

We all had doubts, too.
That’s how we solved them.

Is it safe?

Yes. It's approved by independent AV-Test as a secure smart home product. tedee uses a multi-level encryption mechanism and asymmetric keys for cloud authentication. The Bluetooth connection is handled through a secure protocol.  Sounds complicated, and it is. You can compare these solutions to online banking protection.

What if my phone’s dead?

You can always unlock with a single traditional key that you keep in your wallet. Or borrow a smartphone from your neighbour, download the tedee app, log in and unlock it normally. It’s enough to log out afterwards. If you install a tedee keypad, it’s enough to enter the PIN – with no need for a smartphone or an app. Got more questions like this? They’re probably answered here.

Does it fit my door?
